Abbey Community Centre
I started volunteering for Abbey in the autumn 2023. As usual you'll find me either in the kitchen whipping up a cake for their monthly free community lunch or helping out with coffee mornings for over 50s.
Abbey Community Centre supports people of all ages living in or near Kilburn, North West London. For 47 years it has provided a community hub where people of diverse backgrounds can come together and form support networks. Their various projects, activities and services are designed to improve the lives of local people experiencing social isolation, mental and physical ill-health and financial deprivation.

Supporting Our Community
As my continuous work with charities is very important to me, I currently volunteer for a wonderful charity Abbey Community Centre. Throughout the pandemic I donated £1 from each biscuit order to local charities which included: Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead, Likewise and Cricklewood Library. In the past, I also volunteered for Kids Company, Ashford Community Centre in Cricklewood and Older People's Project in Kentish Town.
