Terms and Conditions
Please read the terms and conditions below before making your order. By ordering baked goods from Rise and Shine Baking you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Returns and Refund Policy
As our goods are perishable and made to order we regret but they cannot be exchanged or returned for a refund. However, if you are not happy with either the quality of our bakes, or, in case of a postal order, should they arrive damaged, please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we will do our best to put things right. You can do so by filling in an online Contact Form on this website or calling us on the telephone number provided.
We deliver twice a week only on the days clearly stated on the website. To ensure our cookies reach you as fresh as possible they are made first thing in the morning and delivered on the same day in the afternoon.
Should you not be at home at the time of delivery, we will leave them with the person (i.e. your neighbour) indicated by you in the “Delivery Instructions” box of your order. In order to prevent your cookies from being lost, stolen or damaged due to bad weather conditions while left outside your home, we strongly recommend providing the address of an alternative recipient when making your order. If you fail to do so, we regret but we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss occurring.
Your cookies are posted using Royal Mail services on the same day they are baked. Each order is sent as a standard 1st class small parcel and it should arrive the next day. That means 24 hours after the day shown in the calendar. Please note that due to the current circumstances and Royal Mail staff shortages the parcel may occasionally take longer to reach you, especially if you live in rural areas and / or offshore. In most cases however, similarly to a 1st class letter, your cookies will be with you the next day. Please bear in mind that once your parcel is with the post office staff it is out of our control. In an unlikely event of your cookies not arriving or being terribly delayed, please send us an email and we will do our best to help.
